The Postal and Philatelic Service is presenting a special issue dedicated to the pontificate of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. Consisting of four stamps, the series portrays emblematic moments of his ministry, offering a visual narrative of the Church's journey under his guidance. From the outset of his tenure as Bishop of Rome, Pope Leo XIV has centred his mission around the themes of peace, unity, proclamation and preferential option for the poor, promoting a culture of listening and shared responsibility within the Church. In line with the philatelic tradition of the Holy See, this initiative interprets the Pope's magisterium, which is characterised by profound pastoral care and renewed attention to the challenges of modernity. The subjects depicted on the stamps include: the Holy Mass for the Jubilee of Families, symbolising the central role of the family in transmitting faith; the Holy Mass for the Jubilee of the Missionary World and Migrants, representing a 'Church that goes forth' embracing the margins of society; the celebration of the canonisation of Blessed Carlo Acutis and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, exemplifying youthful holiness deeply rooted in daily life; and finally, the Holy Mass offered for Pope Francis, signifying apostolic continuity and the profound spiritual bond between Pontiffs. Through this issue, the Holy See pays tribute to Pope Leo XIV and entrusts philately with spreading his Magisterium. He accompanies and guides the Church and humanity on their journey with wisdom and evangelical charity.
