Easter of Resurrection MMXXV - €1.30

The Resurrection of Christ is the unequivocal sign that God’s love can break down every barrier, every separation, every hostility that still impedes our journey toward full humanity. It represents a unique opportunity for each of us to rise again, to be reborn in hope, and to choose to build bridges instead of walls.To celebrate Easter 2025, the Postal and Philatelic Service has chosen a tapestry depicting the Resurrection of Christ, titled “Resurrection”, created by the “San Michele” manufactory based on an original work by Antoon van Dyck, dating to the late 18th century and preserved in the official papal residence.This artwork speaks of light, hope, and rebirth—values that Easter renews each year. Easter reminds us of the transformative journey that faith invites us to undertake, granting us renewed inner strength and a deeper vision of life.
