25 Euro silver coin Christmas 2024

To mark the holy occasion of Christmas 2024, a refined 25 euro coloured silver coin is issued as a tribute to the mystery of the Nativity. The work, signed by artist Marco Ventura, stands out for its bright and harmonious composition, reminiscent of stained-glass windows in ancient cathedrals. The Christ Child lies peacefully in the manger; to the left, Saint Joseph stands watchfully, hands resting on his staff; to the right, Mary kneels in prayer, hands joined and gaze filled with tenderness. Behind them, the ox and the donkey offer warmth to the Holy Family with their breath. From above, the Star of Bethlehem, a celestial sign of the Savior’s coming, illuminates the scene with divine light. On the obverse of the coin, above the coat of arms of Pope Francis, an angel proclaims the birth of the Redeemer, holding a scroll with the eternal words: “Natus est.”
