(21-09-2023) Decade on Ecosystem Restoration - Year II - MINI SHEET

The second issue of the ten-year cycle dedicated to Ecosystem Restoration, leads once again to the encyclical of Pope Francis “LAUDATO SI’”. We refer to Saint Francis as an invitation to look at the «poor man of Assisi» as a source of inspiration. The series issued for the occasion by the Postal Service and Vatican Philately, consists of a stamp of € 2.45 presented in a mini-sheet of 4 values printed on 100% recycled paper, and two stamps of € 0.10 and 0.15 presented in sheets of 10 values, and features a watercolor specially made by Fr. Giuseppe Murdaca which sings of the beauty of creation through the representation of the four natural elements, executed with light and luminous strokes and the delicacy of pastel tones to accentuate the notes of authenticity and genuineness.
